I design compelling materials that convey strong ideas.
I believe design is like magic—either it works seamlessly or doesn’t work at all. To me, design is humane, created for people and communities alike. It quenches the never-ending thirst for purpose that drives our minds. These values are deeply ingrained in every project I undertake. I’m a system thinker, always curious and observant, striving to understand how things function around me. I thrive in challenging environments, and constantly seek to learn and stay fresh, enabling me to execute with the highest quality and relevance. My work aims to be seamless in the world we live in and leave a meaningful, lasting impression.
My journey began with posters, sparking a fascination with the emotions design can evoke that has never stopped. After formally studying visual communication, it’s now been ten years since my first poster. I craft posters, brand assets, and motion designs for diverse cultural contexts, excelling in work that resonates emotionally. I bring energy, collaboration, and a deep commitment to accessible design for all.

aazhi is a bilingual variable display font that maintains a memorable appearance while remaining clean and versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of design projects. the font draws inspiration from the curvaceous terminals of the tamil script, giving it a unique and fluid character. while aazhi is primarily a tamil font, it has also been carefully crafted for the english script, expanding its potential for modern typography.

About Cuisine Quest
This website is the result of a year-long journey into the culinary landscapes of Tamil Nadu, sparked by a simple question: why do neighboring Chettinad and Pandiyanad restaurants serve such different food? The project began with extensive research—field visits, interviews, and documentation—to understand the deep-rooted cultural, historical, and geographical influences that shape these cuisines.
I soley designed the project, focusing on creating an engaging, intuitive experience that brings these stories and flavors to life. Every visual, interaction, and detail was crafted to reflect the uniqueness of each cuisine and the questions that inspired the project. Barath Surya handled the development, translating the design vision into a seamless, responsive website.
Our collaboration was built on constant iteration, exploration, and refinement, ensuring that the final site is both visually rich and deeply informative. The project stands as a testament to the value of research, thoughtful design, and sustained teamwork in creating a digital experience that invites users to discover the diverse culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu.
About BDES '21 Announcements
The inaugural yearbook for the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad commemorates the graduating class of 2021, honoring them as the department’s first batch and foundational contributors to its legacy, with a thoughtfully curated collection of mentor messages, highlights of key student projects, and nostalgic reflections on the transformative B.Des journey—serving as both a keepsake and a precedent for future classes.
I played a pivotal role in shaping the yearbook’s final theme to capture both the spirit of our graduating class and the department’s legacy. Working closely with Siri Shakarathota and Adheena Shibu, I co-developed cohesive and visually engaging page layouts, emphasizing clarity and effective storytelling. My contributions also included original photography—capturing and editing images that authentically represented memorable moments and personalities throughout the publication. My involvement spanned concept development, design, and content creation, helping make this first edition a meaningful and lasting keepsake for our batch.
About insights
insights, is a movie about hallucinantions and reality. The movie was made in collaboration with Adheena Shibu. Our previous knowledge in releated fields helped us produce this movie in the limited 2-week’s time, it also helped dwelve deeper into the subjects, like sound design, script writing and many more. Under the guidance of Prof, Sudesh Balan, our 2-person crew started from writing the script on Day-1 and finished the shooting of the pictures, editing, colour grading and movie posters by Day 14.
About Reflection of Self
This project translated a personal photo series, chronicling the quiet patterns of my daily life, into a functional and beautifully crafted 2024 table calendar. The core design challenge was to create an object that could serve as both a compelling visual showcase and a practical daily tool.
To achieve this, I engineered a completely custom layout. Its minimalist grid and unobtrusive typography create a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring the photographs remain the central focus while the dates are still highly legible and intuitve.
This photo series was a deeply personal and challenging exercise in self-reflection. The resulting calendar is more than a collection of images; it's a tangible reflection of that inner journey.
About odes
The “odes” project was a hands-on exploration of type design, inspired by Product Sans and Times New Roman. I created a geometric serif display font by hand-drawing each glyph on grids, then digitizing the designs in Illustrator. The process emphasized structural consistency, balance, and the integration of modern geometry with classic serif details. Designed primarily for headings and display purposes, “odes” reflects a blend of technical precision and creative experimentation. This font was developed as part of my type design coursework at IIT Hyderabad, deepening my understanding of type systems and the craft of building a cohesive, functional font from concept to completion.
Under the guidance of Dr. Uday Kumar and Prof. Mohammad Shahid, this project sparked a deep interest and made me fall in love with type design.

About Thirai Tamizh
Project Thirai Tamizh (Tamil on a Screen), is a typographic exploration into the evolution of one of the world's most ancient languages. The Tamil script is renowned for its organic, beautifully curved letterforms. This project confronts the challenge of adapting such a fluid script for the rigid, pixel-based environment of the digital world. It serves as a tribute to the language's resilience and its journey into a new, technological era.
To express the shift from handwritten tradition to digital form, I designed a font with a stark, geometric, and pixelated look, building each character from basic blocks instead of curves to feel native to the screen. This approach highlights the contrast between the script’s calligraphic heritage and its digital present, visually narrating the evolution of written communication in the digital age.
Ultimately, “Thirai Tamizh” is more than a display font; it is a commentary on cultural adaptation. It honors the rich heritage of the Tamil language while celebrating its capacity to thrive and communicate powerfully in a modern context.
About Stained Glass
This large-format photograph captures the moment sunlight explodes through Medak cathedral's stained glass, igniting the vast canvas in a breathtaking tapestry of devotion. The goal was to translate this ephemeral experience into a tangible image with unparalleled detail and scale, immersing the viewer in the scene's jewel tones and sacred light.
To achieve this, I used the pixel-shifting multi-shot (PSMS) method. This technique combines multiple exposures into a single, massive file, resulting in an extraordinary 240-megapixel photo. The sheer volume of data allows the image to be printed at up to three meters wide without any loss of clarity, revealing every meticulous shard of glass with stunning precision.
Showcased at 63 x 42 inches, the photograph invites viewers to experience the grandeur and intricate beauty of the moment, making the divine play of light feel almost present.
About 'Chai - Photo Series'
A warm hug in a cup, this photo series celebrates India's beloved Chai. Rich taste acheived by skilled hands; and the golden hues of Chai during the sunset can solve anything. Spices peek through, hinting at the symphony of flavors within.
Chai means a lot; steaming glasses rest in calloused hands, a bustling street corner buzzes with conversations over shared plates, a solitary cup on a train whispers of quiet enjoyment with a sweet treat or a evening time with yourself and the newspaper or a book.
The project culminated in a series of advertisement posters, each using a photograph from the series as its centerpiece. These posters are designed to be more than just commercial art; they are invitations to connect with the culture and savor the taste of India, one delicious sip at a time.

CEVEN is a fictional, cloud-based construction company I developed a full brand identity for, targeting the next generation of homeowners. My approach was holistic: I began with sector analysis and mind mapping, then crafted the brand’s concept, story, and unique value proposition around transparency, customization, and digital-first service. I studied competitors, defined the target audience, and built a visual language that communicates simplicity and trust.
Through iterative ideation, logo and collateral design, and the creation of a cohesive brand system, I aimed to express CEVEN’s promise—making home-building seamless, transparent, and customer-centric. This project deepened my skills in research, strategy, and storytelling, uniting every touchpoint under a clear, empathetic vision
About Kaaval
Safety is a cornerstone of modern life, but does it mean the same for everyone? This photo series explores that question by documenting the security guards and gates of Hyderabad.
To capture the true essence of their solitary role, the entire series was shot exclusively in the dead of night, well after midnight when the city falls into silence and the streets are barren. This approach required a highly sensitive and respectful methodology. Approaching guards during these quiet, vulnerable hours demanded that I build trust quickly and navigate each interaction with care and empathy, making the process as important as the final photograph.
What sets this project apart is its integration of socio-economic context. Each portrait is accompanied by the average housing price for that area—information sourced directly from the guards themselves. This juxtaposition transforms a simple portrait into a commentary on value, disparity, and security. Developed under the guidance of Prof. Seema Krishnakumar at IIT Hyderabad, the work is an inquiry into the human and economic dimensions of safety in a modern city.
About Ayaam Promo Video
Ayaam is the annual design festival hosted by the Department of design at IIT Hyderabad. For the 2024 edition, I was tasked with leading the creation of a promotional video to launch its annual theme: "What's your playground?"
As the animation lead, a central part of my contribution was the development of a unique cast of original characters from the ground up, designed specifically to embody the spirit of the theme. Through intensive brainstorming and collaborative exploration, we built the animation's world around these characters—creating all necessary assets and refining a storyline that brought their journey to life.
The final video served as a key promotional asset for the festival, designed to generate excitement and capture the spirit of creative exploration, inviting everyone to discover their own "playground" at Ayaam '24.
About Elan & nVision Promo Video
Elan & ηVision is the annual techno-cultural extravaganza of IIT Hyderabad, a three-day festival celebrated for its thrilling mix of tech and cultural events. For the 2024 edition, the guiding theme was "Piecing It Together."
With just five days until the launch, I was tasked with creating a countdown animation to build excitement and tease the festival's arrival. Embracing the theme, the animation visually represented key elements "piecing together" over the five days. Each day, a new segment would animate and lock into place, progressively constructing a complete picture that culminated in the final reveal of the festival's branding.
This short, engaging animation served as a key promotional tool in the final run-up, capturing the spirit of the theme and driving engagement across the institute's digital platforms.
About Mitti
"Mitti" is a sand animation film that explores the delicate cycle of life within mountain ecosystems. The project’s most defining characteristic is its medium; the film was animated entirely with sand, the very element most abundant in the mountain regions it portrays. This deliberate choice creates a powerful, tactile connection between the story and its telling.
A collaborative effort, the film was created with friends under the direction of Prof. Delwyn Jude Remedios, whose guidance was instrumental in shaping our vision and navigating the technical and narrative challenges of the medium.
The film was made for the promotion from for the Equinox Film Festival.

aazhi is a bilingual variable display font that maintains a memorable appearance while remaining clean and versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of design projects. the font draws inspiration from the curvaceous terminals of the tamil script, giving it a unique and fluid character. while aazhi is primarily a tamil font, it has also been carefully crafted for the english script, expanding its potential for modern typography.

About Cuisine Quest
This website is the result of a year-long journey into the culinary landscapes of Tamil Nadu, sparked by a simple question: why do neighboring Chettinad and Pandiyanad restaurants serve such different food? The project began with extensive research—field visits, interviews, and documentation—to understand the deep-rooted cultural, historical, and geographical influences that shape these cuisines.
I soley designed the project, focusing on creating an engaging, intuitive experience that brings these stories and flavors to life. Every visual, interaction, and detail was crafted to reflect the uniqueness of each cuisine and the questions that inspired the project. Barath Surya handled the development, translating the design vision into a seamless, responsive website.
Our collaboration was built on constant iteration, exploration, and refinement, ensuring that the final site is both visually rich and deeply informative. The project stands as a testament to the value of research, thoughtful design, and sustained teamwork in creating a digital experience that invites users to discover the diverse culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu.
About BDES '21 Announcements
The inaugural yearbook for the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad commemorates the graduating class of 2021, honoring them as the department’s first batch and foundational contributors to its legacy, with a thoughtfully curated collection of mentor messages, highlights of key student projects, and nostalgic reflections on the transformative B.Des journey—serving as both a keepsake and a precedent for future classes.
I played a pivotal role in shaping the yearbook’s final theme to capture both the spirit of our graduating class and the department’s legacy. Working closely with Siri Shakarathota and Adheena Shibu, I co-developed cohesive and visually engaging page layouts, emphasizing clarity and effective storytelling. My contributions also included original photography—capturing and editing images that authentically represented memorable moments and personalities throughout the publication. My involvement spanned concept development, design, and content creation, helping make this first edition a meaningful and lasting keepsake for our batch.
About insights
insights, is a movie about hallucinantions and reality. The movie was made in collaboration with Adheena Shibu. Our previous knowledge in releated fields helped us produce this movie in the limited 2-week’s time, it also helped dwelve deeper into the subjects, like sound design, script writing and many more. Under the guidance of Prof, Sudesh Balan, our 2-person crew started from writing the script on Day-1 and finished the shooting of the pictures, editing, colour grading and movie posters by Day 14.
About Reflection of Self
This project translated a personal photo series, chronicling the quiet patterns of my daily life, into a functional and beautifully crafted 2024 table calendar. The core design challenge was to create an object that could serve as both a compelling visual showcase and a practical daily tool.
To achieve this, I engineered a completely custom layout. Its minimalist grid and unobtrusive typography create a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring the photographs remain the central focus while the dates are still highly legible and intuitve.
This photo series was a deeply personal and challenging exercise in self-reflection. The resulting calendar is more than a collection of images; it's a tangible reflection of that inner journey.
About odes
The “odes” project was a hands-on exploration of type design, inspired by Product Sans and Times New Roman. I created a geometric serif display font by hand-drawing each glyph on grids, then digitizing the designs in Illustrator. The process emphasized structural consistency, balance, and the integration of modern geometry with classic serif details. Designed primarily for headings and display purposes, “odes” reflects a blend of technical precision and creative experimentation. This font was developed as part of my type design coursework at IIT Hyderabad, deepening my understanding of type systems and the craft of building a cohesive, functional font from concept to completion.
Under the guidance of Dr. Uday Kumar and Prof. Mohammad Shahid, this project sparked a deep interest and made me fall in love with type design.

About Thirai Tamizh
Project Thirai Tamizh (Tamil on a Screen), is a typographic exploration into the evolution of one of the world's most ancient languages. The Tamil script is renowned for its organic, beautifully curved letterforms. This project confronts the challenge of adapting such a fluid script for the rigid, pixel-based environment of the digital world. It serves as a tribute to the language's resilience and its journey into a new, technological era.
To express the shift from handwritten tradition to digital form, I designed a font with a stark, geometric, and pixelated look, building each character from basic blocks instead of curves to feel native to the screen. This approach highlights the contrast between the script’s calligraphic heritage and its digital present, visually narrating the evolution of written communication in the digital age.
Ultimately, “Thirai Tamizh” is more than a display font; it is a commentary on cultural adaptation. It honors the rich heritage of the Tamil language while celebrating its capacity to thrive and communicate powerfully in a modern context.
About Stained Glass
This large-format photograph captures the moment sunlight explodes through Medak cathedral's stained glass, igniting the vast canvas in a breathtaking tapestry of devotion. The goal was to translate this ephemeral experience into a tangible image with unparalleled detail and scale, immersing the viewer in the scene's jewel tones and sacred light.
To achieve this, I used the pixel-shifting multi-shot (PSMS) method. This technique combines multiple exposures into a single, massive file, resulting in an extraordinary 240-megapixel photo. The sheer volume of data allows the image to be printed at up to three meters wide without any loss of clarity, revealing every meticulous shard of glass with stunning precision.
Showcased at 63 x 42 inches, the photograph invites viewers to experience the grandeur and intricate beauty of the moment, making the divine play of light feel almost present.
About 'Chai - Photo Series'
A warm hug in a cup, this photo series celebrates India's beloved Chai. Rich taste acheived by skilled hands; and the golden hues of Chai during the sunset can solve anything. Spices peek through, hinting at the symphony of flavors within.
Chai means a lot; steaming glasses rest in calloused hands, a bustling street corner buzzes with conversations over shared plates, a solitary cup on a train whispers of quiet enjoyment with a sweet treat or a evening time with yourself and the newspaper or a book.
The project culminated in a series of advertisement posters, each using a photograph from the series as its centerpiece. These posters are designed to be more than just commercial art; they are invitations to connect with the culture and savor the taste of India, one delicious sip at a time.

CEVEN is a fictional, cloud-based construction company I developed a full brand identity for, targeting the next generation of homeowners. My approach was holistic: I began with sector analysis and mind mapping, then crafted the brand’s concept, story, and unique value proposition around transparency, customization, and digital-first service. I studied competitors, defined the target audience, and built a visual language that communicates simplicity and trust.
Through iterative ideation, logo and collateral design, and the creation of a cohesive brand system, I aimed to express CEVEN’s promise—making home-building seamless, transparent, and customer-centric. This project deepened my skills in research, strategy, and storytelling, uniting every touchpoint under a clear, empathetic vision
About Kaaval
Safety is a cornerstone of modern life, but does it mean the same for everyone? This photo series explores that question by documenting the security guards and gates of Hyderabad.
To capture the true essence of their solitary role, the entire series was shot exclusively in the dead of night, well after midnight when the city falls into silence and the streets are barren. This approach required a highly sensitive and respectful methodology. Approaching guards during these quiet, vulnerable hours demanded that I build trust quickly and navigate each interaction with care and empathy, making the process as important as the final photograph.
What sets this project apart is its integration of socio-economic context. Each portrait is accompanied by the average housing price for that area—information sourced directly from the guards themselves. This juxtaposition transforms a simple portrait into a commentary on value, disparity, and security. Developed under the guidance of Prof. Seema Krishnakumar at IIT Hyderabad, the work is an inquiry into the human and economic dimensions of safety in a modern city.
About Ayaam Promo Video
Ayaam is the annual design festival hosted by the Department of design at IIT Hyderabad. For the 2024 edition, I was tasked with leading the creation of a promotional video to launch its annual theme: "What's your playground?"
As the animation lead, a central part of my contribution was the development of a unique cast of original characters from the ground up, designed specifically to embody the spirit of the theme. Through intensive brainstorming and collaborative exploration, we built the animation's world around these characters—creating all necessary assets and refining a storyline that brought their journey to life.
The final video served as a key promotional asset for the festival, designed to generate excitement and capture the spirit of creative exploration, inviting everyone to discover their own "playground" at Ayaam '24.
About Elan & nVision Promo Video
Elan & ηVision is the annual techno-cultural extravaganza of IIT Hyderabad, a three-day festival celebrated for its thrilling mix of tech and cultural events. For the 2024 edition, the guiding theme was "Piecing It Together."
With just five days until the launch, I was tasked with creating a countdown animation to build excitement and tease the festival's arrival. Embracing the theme, the animation visually represented key elements "piecing together" over the five days. Each day, a new segment would animate and lock into place, progressively constructing a complete picture that culminated in the final reveal of the festival's branding.
This short, engaging animation served as a key promotional tool in the final run-up, capturing the spirit of the theme and driving engagement across the institute's digital platforms.
About Mitti
"Mitti" is a sand animation film that explores the delicate cycle of life within mountain ecosystems. The project’s most defining characteristic is its medium; the film was animated entirely with sand, the very element most abundant in the mountain regions it portrays. This deliberate choice creates a powerful, tactile connection between the story and its telling.
A collaborative effort, the film was created with friends under the direction of Prof. Delwyn Jude Remedios, whose guidance was instrumental in shaping our vision and navigating the technical and narrative challenges of the medium.
The film was made for the promotion from for the Equinox Film Festival.
